"It's a Theory ..."

My family laughs at my theories on why things are the way they are. As a couple of logic based souls, they get a chuckle out of my explanations for some of the comings and goings of everyday life. Recently, they have found them so amusing that it has been suggested that I should start writing them down. So, here goes ....

Why do the Super Bowl pre-game show(s) consist almost entirely of commercials? - "So that people have time to get drunk and sober up before the game starts."

Why do French people look so grumpy? - "Because their mothers didn't smile at them often enough when they were babies."


"Women who wear pointy high heeled shoes look crabby because their feet hurt all the time."
"Same goes for women who carry really heavy purses."

"Having trouble sleeping? Get some exercise."



"I have big feet because I was supposed to be taller. I was sick a lot when I was a baby, and I think it kept me from growing to my true height, and my feet were made for a taller person."

If you live in an extreme climate hot, humid, etc.) for a long time your body's thermostat adjusts to it. If you then move to a more temperate climate, over time you will lose your tolerance for extreme heat or humidity.
